Hotel to stadium
World Cup 2026 hotel to stadium route planner
A hotel is only good if the match-day route works twice: getting to the stadium and getting back after the crowd leaves.
Hotel area decision table
| Hotel area | Best when | Risk |
|---|---|---|
| Near transit hub | You need reliable stadium and airport access | May cost more on match nights. |
| Near stadium | You have one anchor match and want simple arrival | Post-match crowd and limited food options. |
| Downtown base | You want sightseeing and fan-zone access | Stadium may still be far away. |
| Airport hotel | Early departure or late arrival | Can be weak for match-day atmosphere. |
Match-day route checklist
- Save both outbound and return routes offline.
- Find a backup pickup point away from the main stadium exit.
- Check whether rideshare pickup is restricted near the venue.
- Keep hotel address and transit stop screenshots.
- Build a walking buffer for queues, security and crowd flow.
Return route rule
If the return route depends on one train, one shuttle or one rideshare pickup zone, the hotel plan is fragile. A stronger plan has at least two ways back or a realistic walking-plus-transit option.
